.....I agree with True Blue

'Well done BS. Admitting you agree with True Blue is the first step on the road to recovery'

Thanks everyone. I feel so much better

more

It's like a weight off my shoulders just to admit it.

'Go on BS. This is a safe place....let it all out'

Well at first i was in denial. Id find myself watching these rubbish Leicester performances and coming home defending Ranieris tactics. I even argued with Mersey last week and tried to make out that going for a point against Boro was a sensible thing to do. I couldn't acknowledge the fact that true blue could be right - that maybe Ranieri IS starting to get things wrong occasionally

'We've all been there BS. I support Inter Milan and I stuck up for Ranieri when he subbed Cambiasso in that 3-0 loss to Roma. He was the best player on the park but I convinced myself it was cambiassos fault'

Yeah well something happened yesterday. After sticking up for him against Boro, I watched us play Chelsea, minus Diego Costa. I wasn't expecting a win or even a draw - but I wanted...well a shot either on or off target.

I waited and waited and waited. It never came. At first I thought it was the players fault. Then I blamed the ref. Then I reasoned that Ranieri must have been bribed to throw the game. In the end I had to admit it. Ranieri got it wrong. And I realised. He's been getting it wrong quite a bit this season. True blue is right

*audience gasps*

'But true blue once said that Kasper Schmeichel was being signed by Man Utd and loaned back to Leicester.'

I know.....I know.

'True Blue thinks Ben Chilwell and Islam Slimani are the same height'

Yes I know.

And yeah Ranieri won the title. How the fack can anyone ever question him?! He's Fifa world coach of the year and True Blue once confessed to licking the window outside Jamie Vardys house when he had the title winning party over in Melton. How on earth can True Blue be right and Ranieri wrong!?

But the thing is.......I agree with him. The players are capable of better. We've spent £60m and can't muster a shot on target at home. We've spent £60m and darent go for a win against Boro away.

I actually agree with him. There i said. I agree him. I'm not ashamed about it. I need help.

Discuss.

Thing is, if you hadn't of won the title and had come 12th, you wouldn't be complaining about this season so far. But you didn't, you won the PL and performed a miracle and done what Spurs + Pool have never done and Arsenal haven't done in about 14 years.

You are also in the knock-outs of the CL.

Relax, you will finish mid-table but at least you've turned yourselves into an established PL team and won the PL !!! Done well in the fa cup too beating Everton away, and are in the CL knock-outs.

Think Leicester fans just need to relax a bit

I must say, I have certainly noticed a change around the city. When I first came, there was a definite sense of joy and jubilation and the whole place felt lifted into the air, now it feels darker (not just because of the time of year) and gloomier. It is sad to see.

Sounds like you're having a bit of a meltdown, anything I can do to help?

Personally I was feeling really positive, I thought we'd go 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 whatever with Albrighton, Musa and Vardy and I fancied our chances not just against Chelsea but for the rest of the season. I thought we'd found a formation that suited our current available players and also that suited Mahrez and Slimani.
He would have thrived had he been up front so it is something that could work in future games but like any formation you've got to have the right players on the pitch to make it work and we simply didn't. The stupid thing is I was saying earlier in the week that there's no point playing 3-5-2 without Slimani so if I knew that why didn't Ranieri? I find that strange.

Ranieri has made mistakes this season but he's human, he's tried different things, the players aren't the same as last season either which isn't helping his job but he'll get it right and the squad will be strengthened more. We're not going down so no need to slit the wrists yet

Just the fact you're here for me means everything Huth

I'm sorry I snapped at you earlier in the season - sometimes we end up pushing away the people closest to us and that's what I've done with you and Wahl

I agree BS. So I agree with you and TB!

Ranieri deserves our praise, respect and the full season to correct what is happening. But there is no denying that he's been getting more wrong than right this season.

He's no left with the same problem Learson had in our first season back. We can't get the balance between creativity and defensive solidity.

I hope he finds an answer quickly.

I think that answer is 4-3-3 (4-5-1). Whatever that answer is though, we need to find a way of getting DD more space in the midfield, and to actually create a chance for Vardy.

I don't understand how anyone is criticising Bardy at the minute, he's feeding on scraps. Not even scraps, he's just starving to death!!

Spot on, this is exactly the way I see it. We're only in our third season back after a decade and won the league last year so I'll accept whatever happens this season and I've been pretty relaxed and not all doom and gloom like some. Some of the perfomances have really annoyed me though like Sunderland away and WBA at home in particular, they were really truly woeful and I had to have a break from football for a few days after those defeats. I fully expect us to finish mid-table and that'll do me. We go again next season hopegully the new additions will have had time to settle in and aim for a European place. We've got a good future ahead and will be in the PL for the foreseeable future. We took a huge leap forward winning the league and now we continue to build.

I think the frustration is that we have seen what these players can do. We are better than fighting to stay in the league. I'm not saying we are a top 7 club, far from it, but with a bit more of last seasons spirit and positive tactics - we could be about 9th/10th comfortably...

I find it a shame that instead of enjoying this season as Champions..... We are reduced to our manager trying to play the last ten minutes at home protecting a 0-3 loss. That is what Simpson coming on looked like to me!
