Mob rule should never be tolerated

On the eve of the second home game of the 2011/12 season and the eve of the first organised demonstration from 'The Blue Union' I plead to all going to the game to respect the women and children.

For every man,woman and child who choose to attend this march,their will be 100's of men,women and children who choose not to.They will however be going through their normal pre-match routine en route to the stadium.These law abiding Evertonians will all expect to be treated with respect and expect to not be intimidated by any of the attendees of the march.

I hope The Blue Union organizers have emphasized the fact that their march is a peaceful march and is also not an anti Bill Kenwright march and all attending the march will act accordingly.If their are any chants aimed at Bill Kenwright I hope the organizers root out those involved and banish them from the march with immediate effect.

Tomorrow will be one of the darkest days in living memory for the majority of Evertonians.I hope a stirring display on the pitch, victory and 3 points will lessen the sadness that will be in 1000's of Evertonian hearts.
