Mercedes have announced that Valtteri Bottas will be joining them to partner Lewis Hamilton for the 2017 season following the shock retirement of World Champion Nico Rosberg.
This has caused Mercedes reserve driver Pascal Wehrlein, also tipped for the drive, to leave the team and take up a race seat at Sauber.
Meanwhile, Williams have announced that Felipe Massa has come back out of retirement to partner Canadian rookie Lance Stroll.
All change in the F1 circus.

Mercedes will be bricking it with Hamilton also in the last year of his contract.
If their car is not excellent, they could be in serious trouble

Yup this year is shaping up to be massive, this or next year could end up being one of the most competitive years we have had in F1 for a very long time more so next year.

Think the RedBulls were 0.5 secs behind on single lap pace, aero will play a significant role going forward and there may be a tenth or two, here or there.
Hopefully we see a more competitive championship. Ferrari as usual will be nowhere

Bernie's departure is an excellent opportunity to review a few things like the costs for hosting a GP

As long as Mercedes are the dominant force, Lewis will certainly not go to that mess of an outfit.
Issues everywhere...politics, management, power, chassis etc
To be honest, I'm not even sure Ferrari will take well to a black driver.
