Welcome to the unofficial thread of Town v Ipswich Town.
Current form.…latest last
Town – WWWDWL
Ipswich- LWLWLW
Mick McCarthy brings his Ipswich team to Hudders this week after an embarrassing exit to Lincoln in the cup.
That will either galvanise them to better things…. Or Town will win easily… something we have been incapable of doing this season. Early goal crucial..
This is the start of the business end of the season…I think we can all feel that too.
Will we get a striker in? Will we get an early goal in this game to settle us down so we can win at a canter…. Who knows..
All our next 3 league games are at home…( Ipswich, Brighton & the game we simply can’t lose… L**ds).
Those will go a long way to settling our path to either a continued play off place… or a slide away to mid table…..
Striker needed, goals needed,
20,000 expected again … 3rd league game on the trot ( first time since the 70-71 season.. ) great times at Town…lets enjoy the ride wherever it takes us…..
Prediction – 3-1 Town.. Hudders..
UTT.

Played really well yesterday with half the team out & a new striker in the stands... Fantastic home fixtures to come... We might not have made 3 20,000 crowds in a row this time, but with Brighton, Leeds, Reading, Newcastle, then Villa... I reckon 5 in a row!

I'm working until 20:30 waltz, then I'll have a few. My virgin broadband is down. (problem in my area) so I can't watch any football ⚽!

Sheff Weds apparently want Rhodes but the price is £9m, madness. If they do buy him shows the difference in our finances.

Here's my predictions. I got a bit bored towards the bottom half, not a true reflection.
