Rumours in some papers are that City have said they are open to offers for Sergio. Not sure I believe that, but after waiting for news about this contract extension, seems he has already signed it.
Is it unusual for a manager to meet with a player and his representatives over dinner, midweek, to talk about anything other than contracts?
Sergio signed his extension 1 year ago

Back to Atletico as Griezmann's replacement in the summer.
Maybe the signing of Gabriel Jesus was the first step in the departure of Sergio. He's been at City longer than I expected him to be.

Griezmann to United is almost a done deal so I've heard. Shame.

I think Pep has eyes for Dortmunds Aubameyang.

I think Aubameyang is definitely on Pep's wishlist.
Would rather we kept Sergio and sold the likes of Navas and Nasri.

I read somewhere he's not the best trainer, maybe Pep's taken a harder line on this than his other city managers. It's crackers if that's true when you look at what he does on the pitch.
