Didn't follow much of the football today so had no idea about Mason's injury until just now.
Latest reports are that he's fighting for his life. Really hoping it's a case of 'overly sensationalist reporting', but if it's as bad as they're saying, just have to hope he pulls through.
Thoughts are with the lad. He's one of our own.
EDIT - latest news is that he's stable, but expected to remain in hospital for a few days at least. Promising news.

At least he is stable. Could be the end of his career though you would imagine. Still in the grand context it could be worse

I hope he recovers quickly and can play football again. But the most important thing is his health.
Credit to the Chelsea medicine team and their fans for applauding him off the field.

I was hoping his injury wouldn't be as bad as the collision looked.
