Just read an old post but saw it today after the tribute to Paul Hunter last night during the Masters final.
It's by his wife Lindsay. Really sad story told through her eyes. Must have been absolutely awful to go through.

Glad they've named the Masters trophy after him. Wish they'd have done it sooner.

Wonder how many World titles he'd have today?

He had a great chance in 2003 leading Doherty 15-9 in the semi final, I think he'd have one or two... Not in Ronnie's class.

Hunter was my 2nd favourite after Hendry. It would have been amazing to have seen Hunter and Judd Trump meet in various finals. That would have been a dream come true. Not sure if they ever did play a competitive match against each other. Judd turned pro in 2005.

0, maybe 1
I loved the guy and was a fantastic player, but he had some amazing years in the early 2000s and never really looked like winning the title, although competition was hard back then.
Could've won in 2005 or 2006 if it wasn't for the condition he was in, but I don't think he would've done much after that. I'd rather he won than Murphy or Dott.

He had the game to be a world champion and was a great character, something which snooker could do with more of.
It was an absolute tragedy what happened to him, and he is sorely missed.

Jimmy White says he's lost a lot after his flat caught fire.

You would think Jimmy would live in a big house not a flat. Strange that!

I thought that!
Ronnie has gone out in the German Open, lost 4 frames in a row going down 5-4 to Mark King.

So many top players already out or failed to qualify.
