Great Scott.

Centre spread in the Guardian Sports Section. Explains why is looks so much in control in the goal area at Pride Park. A good read.

And I think we could just beat Leicester tonight.

Hugo!
Don't understand what you mean? I'd appreciate a simple explanation. Thanks

"Great Scott!" is what he means, the very obvious title for such an article.

Like I've always maintained, he scores too infrequently. 3 a season? He's barely above Keogh ffs. Waste of a shirt, he is, and not fit to lace #CB4's boots.

Thank you 666. All is clear. Except I am not journalistically experienced and definitely not a sub editor.

But I can see "GREAT SCOTT" would have been good.
Incidentally who is the "SCOTT" referred to in that expression? Anybody know?

Also 666, I am now sure you are right about Will and all those other good opinions of hime are penned by lunatics or at least by folk who do not know what they are about. Thanks for spotting such obvious false judgements by "experts"

Scott of the Antarctic.

When he declared that they were going to carry on with a lack of food, transport, warm clothes and 5ex, they all mumbled in a very unenthusiastic, semi-sarcastic way "oh, great Scott"

Thanks view. As good as (or better) than any other explanation.
