How did it come to this?

Well, one thing with being a Leicester Fan is it's never boring!

How did the Champions of England fall so far so fast though, bad enough with clueless tactics, underperforming players and high cost summer flops but now all sorts of backroom issues are coming out.

It would seem now to be imperative that there are 3 more 'worse teams than us' still at the end of the season otherwise the Club shows every sign of doing a Blackburn or Leeds, the only saving grace being that we have excellent owners and we should still trust in them to make decisive decisions when needed.

Not sure why Ulloa was told we'd accept around £5 million for him without being told we obviously wouldn't sell to a relegation rival, not sure why anyway if he's that bad, although with the dross we've seen this year I'm not sure why he hasn't had more game time?

Not sure why we were so hard to deal with over Hernandez?

Not sure why we hear of bids being made but can't seem to seal the deal?

Not sure why the need to consistently play players out of position?

Not sure why many fans feel playing for a draw at Boro was a good thing?

Not sure why we aren't chasing players with Premier League experience?

Not sure if we'll win an away game this season?

Not sure if we can turn this around or are in free fall?

Not sure if this is ' the next level' we heard so much about

17th on goal difference will now seem like winning the League all over again.

I remember many years ago when I was in Ireland, a theory about GAA teams that won the big Gaelic football trophy, the Sam McGuire, that the players were so celebrated, never had to buy a drink, that the expectation on them was to spend loads of time going around all the county clubs to be thanked and train with the young ksds, that they had very little chance of repeating the experience 2 years on the bounce.

LCFC might not have the same expectations but the anti-climax of this season was always going to be difficult. Easy to stand with the club and players when the going is good but the season before last us probably your true self.

Surely there are more recent or relevant teams than Leeds. Portsmouth or Blackpool, for instance.

Leicester need to play better, then they would win more games.

We've didn't replace Kante until January and we didn't sign a quality centre half and both have cost us. That along with Ranieri trying to make changes to formation which while understandable, we won't be seeing again.

We're not going down, we're not that bad and the players really only need to play with the same energy and high pressing as last season to get results. When the pressure is on, if it actually gets to that stage which I also doubt, I fully expect them to perform.

Last 16 of champions league without breaking sweat.
Teams here defen deeper, bar city this season because that was your threat in behind one over the top.
Last season was incredible,a complete one off and the truth is all opposition under performed hence 72 points could have won it. Deffo safe enough and a winnable cl tie, plenty to whet your appetite.

Wow way to bring down an already negative board. We know where we are at and what we need to do. You'd think we were already relegated reading this.

When I mentioned last season you'd have to be careful not to end up like Leeds it was laughed at. Funny foxes now bringing it up as a real possibility.

Of course you were laughed at as the comparison is stupid. Don't get me started on the suggestion of Blackpool and Portsmouth being mentioned. For a start none of these teams won the Premier League and we're not badly run. So where's the possibility of us doing 'a Leeds' coming from?

I actually don't think we will be relegated, well not yet anyway but I am open to the possibility that we very well could be the way things are going, I think some others need to open their eyes to the fact.

Now being reported we are signing some chap from Udinese on loan. Has 80 appearances in 6 seasons - started to look a bit desperate. Clearly not a first team challenger so looks like we are sticking with Huth and Morgan. Hope to god we have enough to stay up and then there needs to be significant changes over the summer. Starting with the appointment of a new DoF who can actually negotiate and get a deal over the line.

I do also suspect we have much wider unrest than we might believe. Claudio sounding increasingly frustrated aswell if you listen to his prezza today.

Begs the question, how long until Claudio runs out of the credits he earned from last season? No one can ever take 1516 away from him but his managerial performance this season has been appaling from what i seen and gathered.

What you've seen and gathered isn't entirely accurate, Ranieri has been badly let down by the club for not making two key signings in the summer, namely a quality centre back and a replacement for Kante.

Ranieri recently tried a few different formations and we were awful but he took the blame for them and we won't be seeing them again I'm sure. Some team selections and substitutes have been a bit questionable but on the whole I don't think he's done too much wrong.

The fact of the matter is we've been having to make do with different variations in the middle and none have been good enough to fill the void. This has created all kinds of problems because the back four haven't had the same protection, there have been gaping holes that have been exploited time and again and we've not been winning the ball back quickly enough meaning we haven't been able to mount counter attacks and our final ball has been seriously lacking too. Most importantly though the players simply haven't been playing with the same energy as last season but when they have we've won. They need to take most of the blame.

The midfield issue has been addressed now with the signing of Ndidi but we're still failing miserably with the centre back, Ranieri, like any manager, can only work with what he's got.
