My boss bowls up to me today to tell me how if Liverpool beat us tonight and Arsenal (his team) beat us on Saturday it's all gonna be on top. Realising that they still needed another three points to actually put some pressure on I then asked him who they were actually playing tonight as he was talking as if they had a bye, and he said as an afterthought "Oh it's only Watford". I then said that they're playing alright at the moment, and he said "Oh yeah well I suppose we could lose but I don't think so!!"
I wouldn't be at all surprised if Arsenal get something on Saturday at the Bridge but what is it about some Football fans that they think every game on paper is a facking gimme. These fans could do with a reality check, like we had of life kicking us in the bollox for about 20 years that we Chelsea fans had to put up with. He might be my boss but he's facking gna get it tomorrow.
Then after the game we end up with this on Arsenal TV. So he obviously wasn't the only one thinking that Watford would be a piece of pii iss.

Didn't they smash Watford early in the season ? They thought it was going to be a walk in the park. There aren't any easy games in the PL.

typical trick of my own team over the years. if there's a side that hasn't won away for 18 months and we're on a good run of form you can pretty much guarantee them 3 points when they get to Molineux!

GBwolf, I watched your game at Anfield on Saturday in Tenerife and before the game Jan Aage Fjortoft and Alan Curbishley also were coating off Paul Lambert for making so making so many changes, and thinking he was gna get a proper hiding, without giving him the credit that he had faith in his own players. They were forced to eat humble pie by Half Time.
Let's face it anything can and regularly does happen in any game between 22 players. Btw congrats on a great performance on Saturday.

cheers Chelsea
perhaps the pundits had forgotten to watch our change team beat stoke last time out...or the Liverpool reserves' embarrassing effort sneaking past Plymouth 1-0 over 180 minutes...

Watford playing well?
They hadn't won in 7, haven't won a league match be Arsenal since the 80s, and their manager pre match was bookies favourites for the sack.
Why on earth would any Arsenal fan be confident of beating them at the Emirates 🤔
