Suggested this myself the other day. England would have been 2-0 up but for root. He plays far too slow and can't hit the big shots when he needs to. Someone like duckett should come in or Hales. Someone rang talksport suggesting it too but goughy wasn't having it. Tests and 50 overs not in doubt by t20 is. Could you see an Ipl team taking him? No.
