( if in their prime of course) one of my alltime favourite players for Chelsea was Eidur Gudjohnsen. I dont think ive seen a more clinical finisher with either foot or head. almost 80 goals for us and i dont think there are more than two that looked mishit or flukes.

hasselbaink was too but Gudjhonsen set up most of JFH goals. Eidur had a far better footballing brain

As he got older became better as a defender but a younger ashley cole during his Arsenal days was very good going forward and just okay defensively

Essien would be good next to Kante, maybe Zhirkov could have thrived in this system as opposed to how he was used under Carlo as a cover LB and cover LM

Zhirkov & Essien are the obvious two. Both pretty self explanatory.
