Also - Back in the early days we used to play park cricket. Many of the games we did not get a league umpire so had to umpire the games ourselves. Usually the team batting sent the umpires out.

Cut a long story short, I was umpiring and a spinner came on. He ran up, the front part of his foot landed outside the crease and the back of his foot was behind the line. He pivoted using the front part, so even though the back part of his foot was behind the line no part of his boot landed inside the crease. I gave it a no ball and we ended up arguing - with him adamant it was a legitimate delivery because the back of his foot was behind the line.......
Was this a legitimate delivery?? (try not to google it)
