Will come in as the new Arsenal manager this summer when Wenger calls it a day?

Klopp isn't suited to Arsenal at all.

All modern foreign coaches work with directors of football. Our biggest problem is that we don't have one. So even when people in the past talked of Pep, Klopp, Sampoli, Aneclotti still means we have to reorganise the board. Really only Wenger can do that role at Arsenal so a bigger name manager ain't going to be willing to work with Wenger on the board just yet. When fans are used to Wenger in the background we can go for a bigger name.
Thats why a younger hungry coach would be better.
If Wenger leaves the club we are in problems. Imagine a new manager and a new director of football! Could be out of the top 4 for a decade!

I hope that doesn't happen. Wenger shouldn't be involved in the club in any way shape or form in my view. While all of us have been worrying about finishing in the top four, every season for over a decade, teams like spuuuds and liverpool have been getting stronger, without CL.

Do you trust the same board who have been happy with a top 4 finish for a decade to appoint a new director of football to spend, spend, spend like Man Utd with no results? You can't change the ownership.

Wenger should have resigned and let Pep takeover.

I would trust a Wenger-less Arsenal to push on and maybe one day to be in the title hunt in May, and perhaps one day to get further than the 4th round of the CL.

With no money because the board trust some super agent and buy Pogba for £90m to finish out the top 4? Do you think our board will ever spend again?
Much rather trust Wenger taking responsibility of buying players like Kante and not making excuses that things happened and we missed out!
Let the manager concentrate on the coaching like all clubs do these days.

The bigger the name of our next Manager, the more responsibility and having influence on signings he will require.
