I've also watched it Robb. Won't give too much away.
Disappointed at the ending

Unique. But nothing special. Quite boring at times.
For similar themes i do prefer the (admittedly overrated) Stranger Things

Seen the first 4 episodes a couple of weeks ago. Haven't bothered to watch the last two episodes of the series yet. That's not to say it's bad, I quite enjoyed it.

It was OK but a weak ending. Going to make a start on Taboo tonight. Marco Polo is a decent Netflix series if you're looking for a new one

Weird ass show. Didn't get through the second episode.
I'll give it another go tonight as I just finish catching up Stranger Things.

Very disappointed with the way it went to be honest.
For me it went from being really intriguing and full of potential to be really good, right the way to "WTF were they thinking... wait.... REALLY?"

Hmmmm
Not really a similar theme at all these two.
Stranger things was an enjoyable nod to many iconic 80s films, it would not look out of place from that era.
The OA was definitely not in the same ballpark.
The OA I would have enjoyed more without Britt Marling's whiny looking boat in it. Fack me she is annoying

^^ It was a loose remark but my point still stands.
The 80s reference is not subtle and in your face but it is primarily about Abduction (aliens/otherworldly)&other dimensions and in both shows that is the premise.
