Wenger says he's staying.

But Wenger, 67, said: "We had a little dinner, not the two of us. I appreciate you want me to rest but I'm not ready for that."

He said he is not ready for that. So there you have it, he will be here next season. I guess there's no point in crying over it, we just have to get behind him now and see how we can strengthen.

Not sure why people think it was ever going to be different?

Its tiring to repeat the same thing again and again. The only way to move Wenger is to send him upstairs and then bring in a younger coach. I quite like Marco Silva. At the moment Wenger is very slow to react and so he repeats the same mistakes year after year. A young coach is not going to care for 'player egos' because his job would depend on results. Players 30 and over need to go. Then spend the money saved on world class players.

If Wenger gets a point in Munich, a point at Liverpool, a point at spurs, a point when man city visits and not donate 3 points to Man U, i will believe him for sure. At this point this is the most we can achieve at least for the pride of the team.

The difference between Ferige and Wenger is that one was actually winning left and right, over-performing with sometimes very poor teams.. ! While the other have decade of failure despite getting chances time and time again.

Do you think Fergie's team would have collapsed and let LCFC win title last year..and collapsing under pressure is the theme under Wenger.

Both managers are incomparable.

I'm not comparing the managers.

I'm comparing the situations, and saying you should be very careful what you wish for.

Do you believe that Wenger is consistently one of the best performing managers in the Premier League?

Do you believe that he buys and sells well, getting the most out of your transfer budget?

Do you believe that he gets more from your more average squad players than most managers would?

No

Well you would disagree with me then.

I wouldn't count on finishing top four in the couple of seasons after Wenger retires if I were you.

But if people aren't too concerned about that, and want to see something different and a change of approach, I can understand that.
