Cup team line ups

If Lamela is back by the weekend I would be tempted to start him v Fulham and Stoke and have Son in for both Europa games.

Can't see Lamela being back Tbh

Is there an alternative reason for his absence?

Who knows... hip injury > family problems > all clear but sent to Rome for second opinion > all clear again > back 2 weeks still no clearer

Seems a bit weird to me.

I cant believe the FA do not have to publicly announce drug cases. Seems farcical

I don't see him as the type to do it and certainly don't see poch keeping him if he has.

I was murder for a Snickers. Just saying

The priority still has to be the league, we are capable of going on a good run with our upcoming games. We must finish in the top four, as this qualifies us for the CL and also relegates one of our rivals for next season into the dreaded Europa League, so teams should be rotated with league games in mind imo.

For me, the FA Cup should take priority over the Europa as we are only 4 games from a cup. So I want to see rotation for the EL and full strength for the FA Cup.

Assuming Lamela, JV and Rose are still unavailable...

Play a strong team in the FA cup. If it's sandwiched between the Europa games it means they get a week off (from playing) either side. Play a weaker time in the Europa games.

Would also agree to not having Sissoko and N'koudou in the same team. Two headless chickens lacking in football intelligence from what I've seen of both. Would be like having Walcott and Townsend on the same team
