Bradford City v Bolton Wanderers

Bolton make the short trip of 46.6 miles to valley parade today, the first of 10 away games which will decide whether or not Bolton will finish in the top 2 or not. It's in their own hands so they're good enough or they're not. Bolton in 3rd place and a game in hand can go 2nd if they win today and Scunthorpe lose at Sheffield. Bradford in 5th represent very tough opposition on their own ground. Unbeaten this season at home but just 6 wins and 10 draws. Also it's Bolton with the best defensive record in the league V Bradford the 2nd best defensive record. The stats would suggest a draw. Team news. Jay spearing suspended today and next week V Sheffield. Pratley, Davies, Buxton, Wilson out long term and Andy Taylor is out today with a hammy so the squad is stretched very thin. Also Beevers is one booking from a 2 match ban. He needs to time that next booking very well. Bolton have new signing wabara in the squad but unlikely to start. One change from Tuesday likely. Thorpe for spearing although long must have a chance of starting ahead of Alf today.

If PP went it will be because his kettle at home was broke and he wanted a free brew.

We'll have played a few more games by the time we meet the Suntan Kid at sundown on the 4th April.
There is still the one that comes up out of the pack Oxford have been going well since we donated 3 points to them I fear we may not be strong enough in more than one way.

The future looks brighter we have a good crop coming through from the U16's to the Dev squad if we can afford to keep hold of them and bring them through the old boys running those teams and setup could turn out to be our saviours.

A change between the sticks a delayed announcement we can't afford a decent anti virus.
Alnwick was feeling poorly before last weeks match. Back in the good old days when we allegedly had a team full of pensioners we at least benefitted from them having free flu injections due to their age which prevented a lot of viruses.
Since keepers normally train together do you think the club did the sensible thing no they didn't will Howard turn up all feverish today or will Alnwick has a relapse. If we have a shaky start it will be down to the fever.
