I think we can all agree that Vincent Janssen's short career at Spurs is all but over. There really must be problems if you can't even get on the bench against Gent and Poch chooses to use Sissoko when we are 3-0 up against Fulham Not to mention the comments from Poch in regards to Janssen not showing enough quality or commitment to warrant game time.
I think he will go down as one of our worse striker signings in years and yes he is even worse than Soldado. So what striker do we go for this summer? Suggestions please. I have always said i would love a striker of quality who not only would replace Kane if need be but play upfront with him to. Pointless us signing another unknown who possibly might make the grade We need to start aiming a little higher and i would go all out for Lacazette from Lyon.

If we want to be ambitious then I think Lacazette is an obvious choice
However I think we will stick with Janssen while adding a (probably pacy) 20/21 year old

Janssen has said he'll give himself a year at Spurs at least before leaving. If he doesn't improve fast he will probably be gone summer 17 or winter 18.

I think it needs to be another right-footed striker with similar attributes to Kane. From what we've seen so far, Jansson doesn't look like he has the requisite quality but I also think that him being left footed has had an negative impact. Over the last couple of years, our whole team has been set up around Kane's movements. Players know where to feed him the ball in certain situations, where to position themselves in relation to his movement, etc... It must be very hard for the whole team to then adjust to playing in a slightly different way with Jansson on the pitch.

I know he's old but how about Thomas Muller in addition you someone young/quick ???Something different... vast experience & seems like a good guy..... Might help our young squad. Doesn't play that much these days for Bayern. Kinda signing who's experience could be invaluable in helping a young squad challenge for a title ???

Bayern supposedly rejected an €80m bid for Muller. Even at a cut price he will be too expensive for us.

Muller is 27 mate - should be at his prime but apparently he is fading. Though I saw the goal he slotted away the other night against the gooons. Classy.

I would move heaven and earth to get lacazette and deeney.
Deeney gives us a plan b and is a leader you would argue he would sit on the bench for the chance of European football.
Lacazette I could see him playing wide of Kane or with Kane behind would love him he is top quality and will hit the ground running wherever he goes.
Janssen is off in the summer as big a flop as you'll find. Just not suited to the league. Tries hard but he won't ever adjust to the pace it's not possible. Feel sorry for him scouted by that idiotic black box looking at stats on a computer not on the pitch.
