Good hi,
Phew. What a relief to get that one out of the way without any real threat of an upset. I always get a bit worried when we play the lesser teams that they will be really up for it. Especially after sacking a manager. St Mirren did it to us the other week in the cup, although they did have that bit more quality.
The experience of winning things and playing at the very highest level was always going to show through in the end. With a league title and European Cup semi final under our belt, we were always going to be something to aspire to for Rangers (who have one Irn Bru cup to their name) rather than something they could try and match.
Anyway, it was a decent enough performance by us, without having to do much. We can only beat what's put in front of us. Yes, it can get boring playing garbage like this and not really being tested. I think it is time for us to move to the English Premier League where we will at least come up against some quality. We'd definitely be top 4 in England, with the money the Prem brings.
If this means us and Celtic leaving the garbage teams to fester in a pub league then so be it. We've got to look after our own interests and games like today just show we are bigger than this league. Either that or we join a Euopean Super League because quite frankly this is getting boring.
On Rangers though I think you guys will get there. You just have to look at the likes of Inverness. Also a relatively recent start up franchise style thing like Rangers, and came up through the leagues in a similar way. They've established themselves as a top flight team and even won a major trophy (something for you to aspire to) and I definitely think you guys will do enough to stay up this season.
Fond regards.

The gneiss and lewisian rock beneath my boots are 400m years old.
The oldest in the world.
Your ‘mountains’ are volcanic ash.
Appeared out of the N Altantic much more recently.
To where they will return one day while ours still stand.
