So who wants to bet how long Big Old Brucie will get at Villa? Will their dismal form under him earn him the sack before the season ends? Will they sack him after they are confined to mid-table mediocrity? Will they give him an extra season in charge to prove that his history of getting wealthy teams promoted to the Premier League can be replicated at Villa Park?
If he does go, where do you think he will end up? Will a Premier League team take a shot with him, or will he end up at another Championship club? Would Crystal Palace, Boro, Leicester, or Sunderland appoint him should they get relegated? Will he work his Brucie magic there too?
Let us all give a round of applause for the Championship expert that is Steve Bruce. Truly, he has been Manager of the Season

Pretty sure most on here don't care - fair enough, but I personally don't want them to drop. No one's got a divine right and we're the classic example but the likes of Leeds or Villa struggling based on history, size of club and fan Base is not good for football to my mind.

...Having said that the position of the club and what league they find themselves in is usually what the owners / management of the clubs deserve - BUT NOT THE FANS!

ermmm, would be better for us if we in this league next year for them not to be.
but all my best mates are villa fans, and as amusing as it is, i still want to play them twice a season and enjoy the banter.
just think they are all over the shop and with lots of tough games coming up could find themselves in big trouble.

We have yet to play most of the bottom clubs. 3 wins and 3 draws over the rest of the season would probably make us safe.

Not that it is overly comforting [and heaven forbid I would try and comfort a v-nil-a fan after they've lost )] but [imo] you can always 'afford' to lose against the top/promotion-likely teams.
It is, of course, the bottom ones that put the pressure on should you lose.
The worrying thing about this division [and this applies to us as well as you] is are there three teams that much poorer than you/us?
