Afternoon lads, the new formula 1 season is almost upon us and with the drastic changes in regulations, we are going to see some mean machines. With that in mind I thought it best to create this thread and update it with car information as it becomes available.
Williams did provide a sneak peak to their car but I do not believe it is the new car but a modified 2016 model with the new tyres, so I will leave that out.

What we learnt from testing....Ferrari, Mercedes and Redbull will most likely battle it out for drivers and constructers. Williams will be just behind and McLaren will do less laps than the safety car spending more time in the garage than the track. It's been 3 years with Honda, and they've gone backwards. A team with their budget doing this badly is a joke really. Ditching the Merc engine for Honda was a big mistake.

With Manor defunct, there's a spare Mercedes engine...
McLaren may well go back to Mercedes, If no significant improvement through the season with Honda.

Look at 1:18s for majority of the field Australian qualifying. Possibly low 1:17s (from top 3).
Super quick.

On second thoughts:
1:20s majority.
1:19s top 3.
Conservative estimation.

Mercs lulling Ferrari into false sense of security, by using conservative engine (modes) and higher fuel loads.
Sandbagging.
