I thought the guy leaving before the Chinese window closes was very drastic, but reading Jose's comments in his press conference about Wazza's situation it looks a possibility.
I can't believe he would leave this early instead of holding out until the summer though. He'll always be a legend here even if he does decide to pack his bags. Good luck to him wherever he goes.

I really dont get people putting rooney in the squad or as above ''a bit part player'' yeah on how much?
He was good now is rubbish and the sooner we get him off our wage book the better
People saying he wont go to China and doesnt need the money etc, get real folks. This is a lad who had the whole ''come get me plea'' to SAF once he established himself at Everton. Basically betrayed Moyes. then twice he betrayed UTD and stayed due to large amounts of money. SO history says give him money and he will jump
Now none of us can be certain, hence I said history says. However him being a greedy bar steward has more to i than those who think he is their mate and come out with the guff whenever there is a rooney article

He has twice as many assists as anyone else in the squad this season despite having played half the number of games of some players.
He isn't "rubbish". Tone down the rhetoric please.

Just checked and in all comps Rooney has four goals and nine assists in his 19 starts for United this season.
You can add a further goal and assist in sub appearances.
I'm not arguing that he's been some kind of revelation, because he hasn't; he's often been bang average and as we've seen repeatedly in recent years, sloppy and wasteful on the ball.
But he's made a very strong contribution to the bottom line this season. That cannot be denied.

Sky say he's unlikely to leave before the window shuts next week. But they say he's got several offers from Chinese clubs.
Also..
Rooney's advisers have been approached by several Chinese Super League (CSL) clubs who are willing to make him the world's best-paid player, offering £750,000 a week.

Cannavaro quotes this morning that they had spoken to Rooney but he doesn't suit their style of play so they aren't interested... which sounds a bit odd to me, why speak to him in the first place
suppose Rooneys people may have approached them but the quotes (over the whole interview) don't really read that way

It is amusing seeing Cannavaro prefer Kalinic to Rooney.

I don't think he's good enough for the PL anymore. He's been on a downward spiral for too long. And no one can afford his wages anyway.

He's definitely good enough for the premier league still. But not the top of the premier league, international football or champions league.

As if Levy would open his wallet to pay Rooney
______________
As if Rooney would swap United's bench for Tottenham's bench!

Hello. You done it the wrong way round. They say L as R. So if they were actually trying to shout Looney at him due to his lunatic like performance, they’d actually shout Rooney which would actually encourage him to behave in a more lunatical way due to them encouraging him by shouting Rooney instead of Looney.
