Is Porto worth visting?

Galicia is where most of Europe's seafood comes from above Porto and Portugal in the North West.A lot of Europe's dairy also they speak Galego which is a dialect of Portuguese,have a Tartan,wear kilts (faldas) and play the bagpipes.
Celta Vigo is of course one of the teams from Puerto Vigo and Deportivo La Coruña that used to be regular Champion's League competitors many moons ago!

I always took it to mean both as one of my local buddies on the Algarve always used to say 'Vinh Verd' as the locals pronounce it,then he always used to say in English 'young wine'.
I didn't realise that you could get red but Joao always used to say himself that the only wine that exists is red,would love to try some of that though!

I'm not arssed about the cities, but there are some lovely little towns on the Galician coast.

There are a lot of well travelled and informed people on this site. I've visited every country in Europe, but except for France,only as a tourist. I always feel like I never left Lancashire on here.
Except about wine, French wine, on that I do know my way about. Fifty years travelling to France, buying it and drinking it helps a little.

I love San Sebastián to bits as well. One of my favourite cities in the world.

Just the right size, so stunning, great vibe, and as you say, superb food.

Are you aware that San Sebastián in the País Basco actually has more Michelin-starred restaurants than any other city on the Planet?

My bad of course it is actually spelt 'País Vasco' in Spanish but 'B' and 'V' are interchangeable in that language!
