Was at the game yesterday at Wembley and whilst the general performance of the team was very good especially with 10 men for a lot of the game, the actual outcome was totally unacceptable to be going out over 2 legs to some f*** pub team from Belgium who currently occupy midtable
This side and club have got a mental problem that just never seems to fade away in that when it comes to big important games, we pretty much bottle it every single time. Yes we win the odd game against Chelsea, City etc but when it truely matters and when we have a chance to progress for a trophy or win something, we collapse and fold like a bunch of f*** clowns and I'm sick to death of it. I'm fed up of season after season feeling disappointed at a great opportunity at winning a trophy which we have been lacking for so many years now.
No Spurs fan can tell me that they are happy with 2 bloody league cups in 25 f**** years!!!!! For a club our size this is just not good enough. I'm certainly not going to turn on pochettino because he has installed a real positive mentality at the club but until we actually win something, what the hell is it good for? How is his legacy going to be viewed if we go many more years without a trophy to our name?
I left the ground last night obviously annoyed but at the same time with an attitude of " well we do this every year" ... until we change this bottle job mentality at this club, we are going to be constantly going season after season without winning anything. It's about time this club wins something and I just can't see us winning even the FA cup especially with this pathetic Wembley Jinx we seem to have adopted. Don't even get me started on Wembley because that's a different article altogether
Unacceptable!!!!

So a defence not being tested in the box for the game is a reason to dismiss a defender, one playing in a team with 10 men for more than a half?
Do you not think he contributed towards Llorisg not having much to do?
He made one mistake that led to a goal. The same as Kane.
Even if Dier had not made that error, Kane's meant we were out at 2-1 anyway.
At the end of the day, Kane's main job for us is to score goals. He ended up in negative figures.
If you want to base a bad individual performance on one or two errors with his bread and butter in Dier, then you have to do the same for Kane
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is when your main moments in the game are all negative ones. Kane at least did positive stuff as well to negate the own goal and missed chance. To only focus on that is being overly critical.
Actually to say he had half chances might be doing him a disservice. He had the one half chance with the header and the good chance. The moment when Son crossed to him wasn't quite where Kane needed it.

If that was Janssen you would be all over it.
Kane's OG was arguably the pivotal moment. The situation went from one of probably going on to score a few more with our tails up, to getting desperate and frustration seeping in

Complete overrreaction. We were stretched, committing players forward in a gung ho manner. One man is to blame for that, Dele Alli. If anyone is to be scapegoated and dropped it would be him.
That we had 23 shots and only 3 on target a huge contributing factor. We literally could not have gone through if we had scored with all of our shots on target. Woeful from the forwards
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No overreacting here it's been a build up with him
The second goal not only did he fack up by trying to play offside when he was about 5 yards behind he then failed to clear the ball in th box.
He was bad and for a while back to a back 4 for me especially while Rose is out

Although I agree that Kane wasn't great last night (again in a big game) and bring Janssen on for 3 minutes again by poch was totally pointless.

Well as far as moments go, it's certainly more unfortunate for him than Alli's moment was for Alli. Just maybe they'd have still scored if Kane hadn't have touched it?
And yes he should have scored in that moment at the other end. And Son should have scored, and Eriksen should have scored a second.
We need to be more clinical as a whole. Set pieces need to improve, as does our long range shooting - row Z took a battering in that game.

I was at the game, we absolutely dominated and our approach play at times was electric. Two moments of madness cost us - Kane own goal and Dele's stupid stupid challenge, the boy is a fantastic talent but he should be ashamed of himself, he let his side down.
Kane was awful, after his hat trick at the weekend I thought he would flourish last night. Walker's crossing was woeful. We are so lop sided when Rose isn't playing, Davies isn't dynamic or quick enough to be a wing back, he receives the ball and plays the safe option all the time.
Wanyama was superb and Dembele was very good too.
Even with 10 men we dominated but we just weren't clinical enough.
Brilliant atmosphere at Wembley but again we made bad decisions and faltered when it matters.

Brilliant atmosphere? Really? I thought that was one of the worst atmospheres I've ever experienced at a Spurs match
Thought it was awful and filled with day trippers / casual Spurs fans who went for an evening out like it was a show or something. No lie - there was a girl in the row in front who was sat there facetiming some geezer. Get the fack out the stadium and let a real fan have your ticket

It did seem a half decent atmosphere tbf even the commentators said how it was like WHL for a brief 15 mins or so

A coupla "Come on you Spurs" when we had a corner and for a spell after the second goal went in but it was just so disappointingly poor.
There were pockets of fans who were giving it a go but there were so dispered round the stadium with far too many Dolly Daytrippers that nothing could get started and cos the stadium is so vast, there is no "section" of sound that some of the less bashful dollies could join in with.
Hoping the single tier at the new WHL with the current Park Lane and shelf fans will be in together so that we don't have similar problems at the new stadium.

Pretty similar to the CL games then.
I was behind goal next to away fans for them and it was pretty good but couldn't here a word the other end and vice Versa so probably had different sections singing different songs.
This is why i was so against us playing next season there.

Yeh I was there and atmosphere weren't great at all apart from the odd spell when the crowd really cranked up the volume. Apart from that the Gent fans were the ones creating it all.
