= GOALS!!!! Finally we have a hot strike partnership fellow Spurs fans. Call this article premature if you want, all I can say is that these 2 have already started to click then there will be lots more to come. No more Crouchy either, only Super Pav on the bench ( I like the guy despite his critics).
Come On You Spurs!!!!!!

We are simply saying he is not a write off just yet.

The main difference between Defoe and all those listed is he plays for us. For that reason he gets my support.

Like many others will agree, Defoe and Adebayor will shape up to be a fantastic strike force. Im gonna refer to this article in a few months, so that the usual negative posters will realise Spurs are once again moving in the right direction.

Yep like many on here (or old 606) told us what a great player Palacios was going to be and what a coup we made by resigning Keane.
I will gamble good money you never refer to this again let aone prove what a great combination Defoe and Adebayor are. We heard on thsi when we had Crouch and Defoe how great they were for pompey

And Vdv or dos santos dont? So by that argument everyone should start just because they play for us. I support my team, defoe plays for himself, what concerns me is getting the best out of our team over the course of the whole season and not repeating same mistakes as last year. I want to see the one who said he is going to post this article at the end of this season to do so because he believes defoe is going to have a good season with Adebayor next to him. Hopefully, when Vdv is fit, he will start behind Ade, and Defoe will be moved on come January and we can buy a better striker and progress our team rather than be content with falling behind...

Another thing, my arguments about Defoe have always been consistent. I find it troubling how the fickle brigade jump on the bandwagon as soon as Adebayor scores, forgetting that the peformance wasn't the best, and Defoe had a poor game as usual. Had he not scored they would have been calling for his head!
Im glad we got three points, but we wont be getting many more against better teams if we play like this. Was our performance any better than our last 2? only difference seemed to be the opponents and Adebayor!

Even football experts reckon Defoe is hot on his day, Merson even likening him to Ian Wright

Merson is a football expert ? God help us all .
Yes I have seen Torres over the last year and off form or not there is nobody in the world that would not swap him for Defoe and thats for sure

Yes its strange how fans scream about wanting consistency from their players, consistency from their team and consistency from referees whereas they can totally change their views every 45 minutes or so
People may not like my views but they are never knee jerk or fickle for sure. I have said the same about Defoe for the last 6/7 years and it wont change whether he scores or not because after hours of watching him play I think its totally accurate.

It is good of Tottenham to get Adebayor back in form so that he can go back to Man City with more confidence
