i heard we had something like 60% or more of possesion. stoke just defended very very well. it actually hit me how scary they are on set pieces. with jones, shawcross, walters, wilkinson and now crouch in the box, you can see them scoring 40% of their goals from set plays.
im not gonna lie and say carra and adam played well, because they didnt. simple as. bellamy impressed with the time he had. i feel we should drop carra and adam for bellamy and coates for the spurs game. but we shouldnt feel too depressed. the britania is a hard place to go, and the internationals didnt help. we will have to fight, but i do still believe we have a squad that can compete for the top 4 and go the distance all the way to the back end of the season.

Daglish got his tactics woefully wrong - they should have let Stoke have the ball and hut on the break - but Daglish just kept plugging away, Carragher laughable - out of hisdepth now and now only does one thing when on the ball - lumps it forward - shocking all round - Stoke outplayed Liverpool and are now above LFC in the table!!!

Yeah we lost, i was pleased with how approached the game and thought we were a tad unlucky. Hendo, Suarez and downing missed a few today and carra got caught.
It happens....one point, it WILL happne to all the top clubs this season.

I was just not our day. I've seen Jamie grab attackers round the waist/arm/shoulder too many times. Sad to say it, but he is our weak link. I do not question his commitment, but its time to bring on Coates. Not the best of games for Hendo, Downing. Adam was not bad, Luis missed a sitter at the end, Craig wanted to fight the world. They got their tactics right; we didn't. Well done Stoke, I got my prediction wrong. JimmyTheRed
