Mooy. Slows play darn too much for me, He has no pace whatso ever, His play (to me) seems to be short 5m balls sideways & backwards in the main.
Why he takes corners I'll never know.

VLP. The ball has to be whipped in far sooner, He's not the only one guilty of this. But to me he visibly never LOOKS who's available before he's taken himself darn a blocked cul-de-sac.

I'd say the reason there were no forwards in the central positions 'ready' to receive a cross towards the end was because the ball was never getting pumped in anyway.
The way Newcastle had set themselves up, I don't think even many prem league sides would have broken them darn.
What yesterdays game needed from our point of view, was a player who could weave & dribble, taking a direct route to goal through the middle. Sadly, Players of this type cost tens of Millions.
I'd just like to add, When Hefele kept pushing up in the 1st half like a centre forward, That's when I'd say we looked the most dangerous.

Benitez has just exposed to all the championship defenses that by cutting off our supply in behind the defense, And forcing us darn the wings into dead ends. We can be stopped.

Every other defense isn't the quality of Newcastle.

Yesterdays lack of an alternative approach was a concern for me.

This might upset you Darn but I was a part of the 91st minute exodus. I had to because if I hadn't I would probably have ended up decking someone.

I spent most of the match absolutely furious after the penalty award (which even from 70 facking yards away I could clearly see the Shelvey handball and Ritchie trip over his own feet) and then Ward being Ward.

Throw into that the fact they brought their own ref Roger North East, who did everything he could to help them....not sending off Colback when he had at least two perfectly deserved opportunities to do so, allowing timewasting at every turn without so much as a "hurry up", then only adding FOUR minutes at the end....so by the time that little arrogant albino nipped in to make it 3-1 I was fit to explode and just needed to get the hell out of there and back to my car. If I'd spotted any gloating Geordies outside I swear I'd have been eating breakfast in the cells this morning.

Really need Tuesday night to come quickly because I even woke up this morning still fuming about the game. The worst bit is I could have told you we would get screwed before the game even kicked off. Any team that has not one, but two red cards rescinded from the same match, are clearly getting a suspicious amount of help from the powers that be.

So criticise me if you wish, but I made what was the right decision to leave when I did. Never felt as annoyed at a game before in my life.

Me & LV69 looked at each other in TOTAL disbelief when a penalty was awarded.
I physically felt 'sick'.

I've re- watched this game a couple of times..there are many things these Maggots got away with which don't even seem relevant the 1st 'live' time of watching.
Which makes Wagners, calm, thoughtful responses & answers to questioning post game make me even MORE convinced we have the right man steering the ship on to better things.
