Leeds Utd v Birmingham City Matchday Thread

Thank you Sky TV , a normal Saturday or Sunday kick off and I'd be able to watch this, but as it is i'll be slaving away on Nightshift

Anyway on with the thread, a trip down the M6 to the home of Brum City for the Travelling Faithful, Hoping to see a juicy 3 points added to our tally.
As with any other team we don't need complacency sneaking in and biting us on the Rs .

Venue..St Andrews (a golf course ?) Date 3rd March...Kick Off 19:45hrs

Team News
Leeds United
Boss Garry Monk serves a one-game touchline ban following his altercation with Huddersfield manager David Wagner.
Full-back Charlie Taylor (Achilles) could return to the squad.

Birmingham City
defender Paul Robinson is free to face his former club after having a red card overturned.
Blues won an appeal against veteran club captain Robinson's dismissal in last Friday's 2-1 victory at Wolves, only their second since Gianfranco Zola took over as manager.

Match facts
◾Gianfranco Zola's joint-biggest win as manager of an English club came at Leeds in November 2012, when his Watford side won 6-1.
◾Leeds won 2-1 on their last trip to St Andrew's in April 2016, when Stuart Dallas scored twice. Seven of his eight league goals have come away from Elland Road.
◾Birmingham have not won in their last three league meetings with Leeds United on home soil.
◾Leeds striker Chris Wood has scored against 20 of the 28 teams he has faced in the Championship at Leeds - but the New Zealand forward has failed in three attempts against Birmingham.
◾Eunan O'Kane has started 17 league games for Leeds this season, winning 12 of them (71%). Without him in the starting XI, Leeds have won just seven out of 17 (41%).

There we go then, Zola seems to be getting Brum back on track and they'll be up for this one having just got a derby win under their belt against Wolves, I'm going for Woody to break his duck against Brum and a scrappy 1-2 win for the Whites...........

You are right, I do.

And so do you, which is why you cant prove it. And I find it hilarious the way you are responding to your mistake.

Keep playing the victim.

This thread (matty/Walsall) made me want to start an argument with Jonty about Cellino

Woke up to a great result though. I need to watch the match replay but it didn't sound like we played well apart from defensively, but nice to see Pedraza on the score sheet and glad to see Sackho dropped after his performance against the Wendies.

I said to my drinking partner that I thought we could step up a gear if needed and we did. Shame they had to score for us to do it though.

We should be blowing away teams like Brum. No offence meant to Brum fans.

Bit late Lads, but Thanks for sticking with the thread

Need to cut down on this fratching though...........All Leeds Aren't We

Saw the Highlights, read the comments, apparently not exactly beautiful football, but a beautiful 3 points .
