Next is.....Mark Warburton!!

So best of luck to Mark Warburton as he finds himself next in line to try and make a silk purse out of the camels ball bag that is NFFC these days under the farcical lunatic ownership of the pathological liar and serial asset stripper Fawaz Al Hasntafu##ingclusi...

I genuinely wish Warburton well, I think he did a great job at Brentford and got Rangers promoted a season after Ally McCoist failed to win a one horse race in last years Scottish Championship. That said the Rangers experience was a bit of a blip on his CV but I think its a fairly hopeless task as they're so behind Celtic these days and fan expectation is off the charts. Under the circumstances I think he's the best we can hope for and if he can keep us up he'll be off to a great start with a summer to plan ahead of him.

I would have preferred Rowett who was lined up by the yanks at xmas and has today signed for Direby, with this in mind I wonder how Mel Morris is somehow escaping the same level of ridicule that our mad man owner has acquired. He's sacking and rehiring only to sack again and is going through managers faster than a Derby fan changes underpants. Rowett said he wouldn't come to us under Fawaz but has now signed for mad Mel?? He's known for being a slow builder and somewhat steady eddie and if anything this DCFC regime are proving to have no patience and with FFP implications surely looming I wonder did nice guy Rowett make a bum choice heading to the sheep? Time will tell I suppose....

I've seen a few Rangers fans say he can't take criticism now, and he's on Twitter

Remember talking to a Rangers fan in a Gedling pub years ago when Scott Gemmill was in the Forest side.

I'd never heard any hint that he might join Rangers but this guy was full of it, Scott needed to move to Rangers who were a big club.

No doubt they are, in Glasgow. And Forest aren't what they were back then. Still reinforces my belief that Rangers fans are delusional. (Whereas Forest fans nowadays are simply disillusioned).

Second highest resources (spending right?) in a division you've just been promoted to, doesn't necessary guarantee 2nd place. You were third right when he left? I know it's a like a lower league bar Celtic and possibly yourselves but is it really that way for a team in your position to attract quality on promotion like that? Not the usual average mercenaries looking for a wage

Warburton is a one dimensional coach . He has no plan B and his side kick McParlandvisva dud. He had two windows and not one is playing in the current team.....excepting the 37 year old Hill.....awful management team.

Whichever way you look at it, with managers our list is small so towards the better end of what we can get. Whether he can keep players on board is another matter

Rangers fans are utterly delusional, how much did Warbs actually get to spend pre season? He brought in a load of freebies and spent next to nothing on transfer fees whilst Celtic shelled £3m recently on that lad Kaisse. Aberdeen have had a stable 3 years in the SPL pushing for second so at this moment in time RFC are rightfully sitting third, no quick fix and no credit for guiding them up at the first attempt where their hero Ally McCoist failed the previous year.

A decent and well thought contribution Smid with some interesting points. I would say as a squad Forest have far more talent than our results and league position would demonstrate. If he can motivate guys like Assombalonga and find where best to accommodate young Clough then he'll get enough points to keep us up. We have excellent full backs in Lichaj and Pinillos who should benefit from his style of play. Midfield is our achilles heel at present with not much in back up. I think to play expansive passing football with the squad he had at Rangers was overly ambitious and I think (hope) he'll have better fortune at Forest as our fans love to see managers who play along the floor. So time will tell, but I'm encouraged and think he has the best chance of the many managers appointed by our exasperating owner to do well and hopefully last the duration of his contract
