Allegri & Enrique clubs chosen

Strong sources confirming Allegri has a pre-contract with Barcelona and Enrique will be heading to PSG if he doesn't take his sabbatical.

Rodgers, as much of a joke as it sounds, is being sounded to head to the Emirates if Wenger doesn't sign his contract extension.

( ps. Can someone thread this onto the Arsenal board too - my previous post (which had six 5-star ratings) was pulled by some prepubescent depressed Arsenal fan mod)

True,PSG were dreadful that night. So dreadful that Barca hardly looked great themselves.

I dont think Arsenal will make the same mistake we did.
And either way Howe isn't up to that level yet and who knows whether he'll settle in London.

Benitez seems to be high up in the betting. That would be a laugh.

I'm not convinced of the Eddie Howe hype tbh, he certainly is ready for Arsenal at the moment imo. Emrey was brought in for his European achievements, what we witnessed against Barca is one of the worst European performances I've ever seen, it was shameful from PSG and while ALL of the blame can't be given to Emery, he oversaw it.

Harsh on Emery - he also oversaw a brilliant victory in the fist leg.

These things happen from time to time.

Why would Howe have to settle in London? Redknapp commuted from Poole to North London, pretty sure there are other managers who commute too.

People like to diss Rodgers but he's been Liverpools best manager in a long time for me.

I don't know, it's a bit like the manager of a team who lose 7-1 but were 1-0 up at half-time saying, "I oversaw a great first half performance..."

Roger's certainly isn't a bad manager but it's more of a personality thing with him, that's why people like to take the p*ss out of him.

I don't think his Liverpool team in his last full season are a million miles behind Klopp's tbh.

Made mistakes but i don't blame him, easy to forget his age and experience he had when he joined us, hes only just turned 44 long way to go in his career! Did a lot of good too we played some of the best footy ive seen at the club, some dodgy awful defending too mind but again hes got to time to learn and improve, who knows maybe he did/has?
