Chelsea have been heavily linked with all three players mentioned in the title. But according to the the media, a civil war has broken out at SB over which of the highly rated player to buy in the summer.
Sanches come and get me plea yesterday, only complicated matters further. Technical director Emenalo wants Chelsea to go in loggerhead with Man Utd over Lukaku. But, Conte is desperate to nab Morata from Real Madrid"
Valuation of each of thede players are said to be as follows:
1. Morata £55m
2. Lukaku £70m
3. Sanchez £40m
All the above players would improve our squad, but who would best suit our system ?
Over to you chaps
Morata, Lukaku and Sanchez

By being good at his job? And pretty sure out of all technical directors, indeed out of all of the 'behind the scenes' workers at football clubs, only a tiny minority of them will have played football to the level of CL regular.

Surely going from a scout to assistant manager in a single step is unusual?
And then getting promoted to Technical Director after only 6 months is also unusual?
It's an unusual trajectory I'd have thought and it was a genuine question on the fella's influence that I thought Chelsea fans might be able to answer.

Slightly off topic but why is Emenalo influential at Chelsea?
I looked him up - a nothing player who ended up at Chelsea as a scout and suddenly became Technical Director?!
Surely his opinion should worth the square root of feck-all compared to Conte?
-------------------------------------------------------------
He's part of Roman's clique, brought into the club by Grant and has become part of the inner circle along with De Visser, Granovskaia and to a lesser extent Hiddink.
He isn't too bad at the job we're leading to believe he does, but that's 100% why he got the opportunity in the first place - good contacts.

He wound up assistant manager at one point, desperate as Roman was to keep him close.

A few points on this discussion:
1) I very much doubt Hazard is going anywhere. He signed a 5 year contract in 2015, and seems happy at Chelsea. Chelsea do not need to sell their best player, whatever Real Madrid says.
2) We should always try to sign world class players, as they are rarely available. We should TRY to sign Sanchez, even though it is unlikely that Arsenal would want to sell to us. If they refuse, Sanchez could always choose to stay at Arsenal for one more year and move for free. So the club is under pressure.
3) If Costa decides to leave, we should sell him.
4) Neither Morata nor Lukaku are as good as Costa (yet). Lukaku has fantastic strength, and knows the premier league already. But Morata is much more technically gifted, and is probably a smarter player. Plus he's cheaper. I would personally choose Morata out of those two. But my hope is we can find a better striker - not sure who that would be.
5) I hope Conte gets his way - and signs a new long term contract. Why would Chelsea management want to bring in players that the manager doesn't want? Listen to Conte.

This and circumstance as well. Promoted to assistant team coach with the abrupt sacking of Jose first time round wasn't he? Having said that many jobs arise in football out of circumstance.

I agree with all you said but I would prefer Lukaku to Morata. I just believe Lukaku will help us win the psycological battle as he will put more fear into defender's mind than Morata

Anyone remember Frank Arnesen? He turned out to be a waste of space, we had to pay Spurs compensation to get him as well
Emenalo has done ok considering the circumstances. He brought in few good talents and some crappy ones as well.

He seems to have found his spot. I'd replace him with Hiddink in a heartbeat but he's done well.
I dunno whether it's Emenalo or Granovskaia who handles negotiations for player sales but that's been exceptional in the last 4/5 years

I take your point, Texan. A lot of the English game is about tenacity and strength, which is why Lukaku has been so successful in this league. He would certainly not be a BAD option. But I do think he is way overpriced, as Everton will almost certainly demand £65M or more.
But with our skillful and technically talented wingers, in Hazard and Pedro/Willian, I just think they would play better with a more technically skilled striker. Lukaku is like a bulldozer - powering his way towards goal. And at only 23 years old he no doubt has time to improve his touch, but I am just not totally convinced. I also read recently that he ran less than any other player in the league, and I'm not sure that would fly with Conte.
