He took a lot of stick when he first joined and TBH he deserved it....People did say that as soon as he got his first non pen then he would really kick on
As it happens the one he got against Millwall was a real cracker and I have noticed a big improvement since then , Burnley away was always going to be tough but I thought V.J had an excellent match till he went off with cramp
So my friends do you think he's starting to live up to his fee.......

First off, it's best not to invent new names for players. The guy's name is Janssen and it hasn't changed since he's been here.
Second, he's one of two players who played outstandingly for their countries in the Euros, and then came to Spurs and disappeared - so to speak.
However, Janssen has been showing excellent work ethic all along, great supporting play, but just not cracking them in the way he's supposed to.
Some say its all about confidence in front of goal.
Pochettino gave him a start against Burnley. But the whole team were crap in the first half. Hard to score goals in that situation.
So.... will Janssen start performing before his "sell by" date?
Lets see wot Pochettino does next, shall we?

hey squid hope your well buddy.
No i do not think vincent will ever live up to the fee he will go in the summer for a cut price fee .
His attributes do not fit the premier league he is off the pace and you cannot teach that. regardless if he was 18 years old or 34 years old.
He tries very hard and i think his attitude is top notch but i think everyone is giving him too much slack because of it.
I will not criticise his workrate, heart, mentality never i am almost willing him to do well but he is not good enough for this football club sadly.
It happens was a bad transfer from the joke of a chief scout we had. Should be much better in the summer.

Hi LLM, do you still hold the belief that Sissoko is better than Dembele and will be widely regarded as being so by Spurs fans at the end of the season? Thanks

I would be interested to see him with Son and Alli supporting, as well as Eriksen, if Wanyama misses out tomorrow.
Only his 6th PL start at the weekend. I think its something that often gets overlooked

I didn't see the Burnley game so can't comment on if he played well or not.
Reading from comments Spurs fans have made it looks like the minority are split on him.
Some fans say his not good enough, others say he needs time.
It's very encouraging to hear that he worked hard Saturday , sadly for Janssen he will be judged on the goals he scores , or at the moment the lack of.
Personally I think his first season was always likely to be a difficult one , as Dutch players unless there world class always tend to struggle to adapt to the pace of the English game.
I reckon he deserves at least another season before he is judged as a flop or not , Soldado was given this chance so should Janssen.
If at the end of the day his not good enough he will be moved on.
