What has happened to Rashford, Shaw, Fosu Mensah, Martial? They all look absolutely shot and devoid of confidence. These young players should be playing with confidence and arrogance like Dele, Winks, Kane etc.
Mourinho is ruining them and If I was one of them players or another youngster at Utd I would get out asap.
Such a shame, Rashford looked amazing when LVG brought him through but Mourinho has ruined him, playing him on the wing, dropping him then chucking him in with the pressure to perform straight away, slagging him off etc.
Mourinho is the worst thing to happen to Manchester United, he is not a suitable Manchester United manager.

Speaking of which, for all the goals he's scored, Big Nose has missed more 'clear cut' chances than anyone in the league

Actually don't need a statistician to know this statement is factual... Ibra has scored a bunch for us but he's missed bucket loads this season. Including some rather ridiculous ones. Those stats don't surprise me at all.
That being said my guess is that Aguero's stats aren't much better this season... possibly worse!

He's seemingly intolerant of under-par or poor performances from youngsters. 1 bad game and their dropped. If you're a senior pro then it's all well and good. Had a go at the attack for not scoring the other day but I'm pretty sure they've drawn plenty of games when Ibra has missed sitters?

Moanrinho's comments on Shaw last night were pathetic
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rashford and Mkhi were poor at the weekend; Mkhi was dropped and Rashford kept his starting berth.
Martial had a string of poor games earlier in the season and kept his starting berth.
Carrick, Rooney and Blind have all had poor games this season, then have been dropped. The only exceptions have been Ibra and Pogba, who have kept their starting spots regardless of the previous game's performance.
So this notion that kids are dropped and senior pros have a free pass is complete bollox I'm afraid.

If there was any truth to this stat then why are we even more impotent when Zlatan doesn't play?
Why aren't our other strikers scoring hattricks every week in his absence with all these "clear cut chances" that we create?

Having the sense/know-how to get yourself in the right positions and create space (and thus chances) for yourself in the box through intelligent movement etc is different for finishing of said chances.
Zlatan has been very good at this this season. In addition, Maureen has set this team up to play to Zlatan's strengths (same thing happened at PSG). So when Zlatan isn't playing we're obviously gonna look like cack...
That's a different conservation to his conversion rate which as been average if truth be told... but it's OK if you keep getting in position to get more...

Do you think so? I see this comment a lot and I don't agree. I'm not even sure we play the right formation to suit any of our players tbh!

Fair comment. I agree his conversion rate has not been great. I think my disagreement is with opta's definition of a 'clear cut chance' created and the conclusion that Zlatan has been the most wasteful player in the league - a comment which has been thrown around all season and perpetuated by the media.
