Apparently, plans are afoot to create a new Bank Holiday weekend which will vary in date, much the same as the current Easter holiday does. This additional day will be on a Monday towards the back end of the football season and it will allow fans of all teams to enjoy a good laugh at Arsenal FC once it is mathematically impossible for them to finish above Tottenham Hotspur FC.
The government's favoured name for the new holiday is Woolwich Weekend.
