How good are Arsenal squad in terms of competing for the title and Champions League?
What kind of expectation would you give Wenger with the current squad?
No one is going to question that the current top seven are better than from the rest of the Premier League teams.
So could each fan discuss from the current top seven where do they think they would've finished in terms of their rating before the start of the season not where they are now?
Then, give us your actual prediction, which teams are going to make into the top four this season.
So, we would know which team is doing better than what people thought.
In my opinion, I expected Chelsea to win the league because i thought without Champions League they might edge it ahead of Man City, but i expected Arsenal to be third and Liverpool fourth.
I also thought Man Utd will finish fifth ahead of Spurs followed by Everton.
So i hate to admit, but Spurs is doing better than i thought they would, but the rest have fight on their hands in order to finish third and fourth.
Man City will probably claim third, but still i think they have slightly underachieved in terms of their squad.
Liverpool is the favourite for fourth now unless they mess up badly even though they have easy fixtures than Arsenal and Man Utd. Both are probably going to finish fifth and sixth, but Man U is most likely due to their difficult fixtures.
The worst underachieving team this season has been Arsenal even though they still have a slight chance for top four, but most will rule them out making fifth let alone fourth this season.

What does this have to do with utd? As far as I'm aware Arsenal shouldn't be associated with average clubs like them.

At the start of the season I thought season would end up
Manc City
Manc United
Chelsea (of we sorted ourselves out)
Liverpool
Arsenal
Spurs.
So chelsea and Spurs over achieved alot. United and city flopped. Arsenal and Liverpool are there or there abouts.

I do think United have been the worst underachievers with the expectations they had at the start of the season. Arsenal too and City have been below par.
Whilst I'm not sure we will get top four we have improved a bit this season, Spurs have improved a little too they are a solid team at the moment.
Chelsea have gone from awful to fantastic!

King of the bridge
What a surprise you predicted we would finish 6th. Also how have we over achieved a lot when we finished 3rd last season?
I can honestly put my hand on my heart and say I predicted Spurs would comfortably finish top four at the start of the season.
Pre season Chelsea, City, United and Arsenal will spend 100's of millions again and we will still finish top four again. Everyone will realise that Spurs are actually a top team nowadays.
