Summer Progression

I know its abit too early to talk about summer transfers but teams the papers seem to speculate. Last summer I wrote an article about the 3 players we should buy. Ousmane Dembele, Mousa Dembele and Wanyama, all very realistic in my eyes. Although we only got one of the three i was reasonably happy. Could you imagine if we had of bought all three though? Mousa Dembele although not playing at the highest level is proving to be a goal scorer and Ousmane at Dortmund is looking like a decent player. Wanyama well need I say anymore.

I dont think a massive overhaul or new blood is needed this year, a few simple addiditions and in all honesty I only think one player should move on. Theres no doubt the Cash Clubs will spend £££s and be no better off, i cant think of many players that would come to us that would improve the team. This summer is about keeping what we have got! Which I think we will.

For me I would like to see Ross Barkley in a Spurs shirt. I just have a feeling MoPo would do wonders with him, with a strong friendship with Dele and Dier he would fit in nicely, and already an established premier league player he seems to fit the bill. I suspect Everton would want in the region of £30-35 Million even though he is in the last year of his contract. Part exchange Mousa Sissoko maybe?

Ryan Sessgnon at Fulham, the lad is only 16 and is looking like the sort of Wingback I want. I have stressed this before that I think he will be an amazing talent in years to come. Under MoPos guidance he could become a brilliant player. £10-15 Million would probably secure his services. Also a London lad and seeing what we do with young English players would attract him.

Other than them two I dont see the point in buying players for the sake of Players. Janssen will be better next season that I am sure of. Son is great cover. CCV and KWP coming through. Winks back from injury. I have alot of faith in MoPo and his Youth selection. If we are to go out and spend big I'd rather it be someone who would make a difference not just a N'jie/N'Koudou/Sissoko kind of player.

Don't mean to be pedantic but where's this evidence of Barkley having a strong friendship with Dele and Dier? Or are you speculating they can forge one?

CCV and KWP coming through slower than the eclipse, they never play.

Ousmane Dembele is far better than decent!

Through instagram and social media its well known that the 4 Dele, Dier, Stones and Barkley are good mates

I also have some inside info on this
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I follow Dele and Dier and I don't recall seeing any banter between them and Barkley...

Forgetting the insider info though mate

When I've suggested Vardy as a possible addition to our strike force, I've been met with "he won't accept being on the bench", so I don't see how it would be any different with Barkley or Zaha.

Not saying I wouldn't want them, just that the rules will apply to any big name we get. But at least with Vardy he is a lot older and so might accept being on the fringes more than they would.

I don't believe we need too much change based on how well these players we have are playing. With any luck we'll have a better Janssen and Winks next season.

Things are looking so positive we have an incredibly man for man good eleven. Poch has also touch wood dealt with the bielsa burnout. Just the squad we need addressing.

Outs for me: fazio (gone), bentaleb (gone), njie, janssen, lamela, nkodou, sissoko, wimmer and pau. Seems a lot but we could get a good chunk of money for them and would we really notice them missing from the squad?

Centre back

two centre forwards one quality one cheap lacazette/defoe maybe?

one or two young keepers

a creative midfielder fitting the system. Would love James who plays a similar style for Colombia.

James Rodriguez? Not interested

Defoe ? He will want to go somewhere where he can play every game I think. He's at the end of his career

@doos doos

I just do not think he will return at all well mentally or physiclally. The hip injury and the head issues. I believe he returns to Roma, it is not that i dislike him i do like him.

James is such an amazing player i do not think we could ever afford him but he would fit us so well. Eriksen-alli-rodriguez goals!

Defoe on a free transfer winding down his career at a club he loves i could see it. Having defoe as a sub would be brilliant. Great realtionship with Daniel Levy and you know we love a bargain.

How is 25/26 year old James Rodriguez at the end of his career? that said, can't see him signing for us with his wages

Defoe, absolutely not. I don't think people actually watch him and just buy into the media hype about his goals, of which he only has 9 non-penalty ones in the league this season

Poch has already pretty much confirmed Lamela is staying and Pau will be signing permanently

If Wimmer leaves for more football we need a CB. Otherwise we need a creative CM and a pacey forward at least. Think Davies will remain Rose's back up for a couple seasons unfortunately but shouldn't stop us from signing Sessegnon and loaning him back to Fulham
