A little while ago I predicted that villa would be this seasons draw specialists. Admittedly, not hard to do considering the manager and his history with team set up.
What is worst or best though, in terms of getting that draw; equalising or conceeding the equaliser?
Yesterday, I though the villa showed a lot of character to come back twice after not playing too well at all. The relief that comes from a goal that levels the match can be huge, along with the grief of conceeding it.

If you get the first goal you're on top. The opposition have got to commit themselves to try to level, which opens up further opportunities. If they do level, things are still only as bad as the start of the match.
Having said that, a side low in confidence might get a bit shaky if the other side draw level, as we did last season at times.
Re yesterday, I think it showed we still have good players who can change things around. But I think it also showed we have a rubbish manager who doesn't know how to get the best out of his team in the PL.
