Could Zack Clough have made a mistake joining Forest? For me he is better than bottom end of the Championship so, has he jumped too quickly. There is a very good chance that Bolton could be in the Championship and Forest in League 1 next season. IMPO I would have waited until next season if I was him before I left and have had the experience of a promotion under my belt rather than a relegation battle. I watch Holding playing for Arsenal tonight and think if Zack had waited what if?

Zach can't seem to break into or command a regular place in a lower championship team so it could be we did well to get what we got for him there' no signs of him being a world beater since his move unless of course he's homesick like Starvin Marvin was. Would he be any use to us next season whatever league we are in as we will have a new look to the squad with all the changes coming.

Clough would have benefitted from another season with us. I don't believe he is the finished product and going to Forest, perhaps they thought he should be able to step up straight away.

We had to sell him to someone , only issue was whom. Staying at Bolton was not an option we could afford

He did ok in fits and starts for Forest last season. Not the worst £3m they have spent over recent years by any means!
With a good pre season and some wise words from Warburton, I am hoping he will show the league why Forest splashed out on him.
