Personnally I think Millwall are not a very good footballing team and at home we should be too strong for them. Im going for a 2-0 or 3-1 scoreline. A few points about the day...
King should make his long awaited debut for blues.
Zigic close but not 100% yet
Ridgewell back.
We are looking a little better and we know who we have to work with now.
We are the only club to have opened the scoring in all of our games, with more killer instinct we can turn our draws into wins and if we learn to keep our lead we will also turn our losses into wins.
Win our 2 games in hand and we could be one place off the playoffs, we are currently in the relegation zone.
Against Millwall we stand, 16 won. 9 lost. 10 draws.
Last time we played them we won 4-0

Cracking hatrick for the lad
Great result, King fit, Ridgewell in, Zigic to come, a good 3 points today. Lets hope we kick on from this result.
bluebell, Im probably the worst person in the world to ask about Mcshite, I struggled to get to grips with him, his tactics and his football from the off. Im not what you would call his biggest fan. Have I forgiven him? Maybe I will when he leaves his mortal plane but until then... Alex who?
Well done boys, more of the same thursday pls!!!

Just back from the game, we were workmanlike rather than brilliant, Millwall looked OK until we scored, arguably against the run of play, but after that they just got gradually worse and worse.
Chuffed for Wood, he is a real trier, clearly not the finished article but getting better. Their number 18 snuffed him out first half but he did better second and took his goals well.
King looks great, I thought his touch looked good when he was warming up at half-time, his touch to Burke that set up the third goal was Duggary-esque.
Ridgewell put in 100% and got forward well, he has clearly put the transfer window behind him and did very well.
Myhill did excellent, no errors at all that I recall and one super save late on at 2-0
Man of the match for me Beausejour. Gets better and better. Not selling him in the transfer window was the best piece of business we did.

I think if we keep all we got now untill January at least and if Zigic plays a part then we really only need 1 more player for each position maybe one more for midfield.
A Striker, a Centre Midfield and Defender plus another player who can cover midfield and we would be looking decent.
I think if we took one off Briad or Killgallon on loan, a midfield who can attack but also do ok defence wise say Gutrie and a Striker say Fuller or 3 players on loan and we would be sorted i think, maybe take Koumass on a short term deal with a option and i feel we indeed have a sqaud that can compete for 4th-6th place this season.
So with the Window closed, means the team can concentrate on the Football at Blues and Hughton can assess what other areas need some more numbers by using the loan market for 3 more players.

Agree with blackrose I thought Baeusjour was excellent. I don't think you get the best of him in the middle so I think it's best to keep him on the left wing. Myhill had a great game and made a world class save while the score was 2-0. CB's looked solid but we we're a bit light weight in the middle of the park.
King looked good when he came on. Great first touch and nice hold up play was exaclty what we need in the last 10 minutes when all we had to do was keep the ball. Can't wait to see him back to full fitness.

maybe not the greatest game - but we at least have strikers making clever movement..beausjours pass for first goal was excellent but wood had taken up great position for him.. how many goals has wood got already??? and only young and unfinished article - yet scoring and getting lots of chances.. its due to his and other reading of game - you either have it or you dont , cannot be taught only improved on..seems to me up front was always the problem ... hindsight ...oh i have been harping on about it for 4 years tho!!!

Wood will most likely be playing for Rangers in October or November? ,pity we didnt loan him for the season, love his heading, will the Baggies sell him to us in January? ,maybe. kro. .

Don't think the baggies will sell. Spoke to my friend yesterday and he said the baggies are impressed with him and he is one for the future.
Shame we got him on an emergency loan as he can only be here for 97 days. Hopefully in January we can get him until the end of the season.
