Murray vs Rosado live fight thread!!

Two battle hardened warriors go toe to toe tonight at the Liverpool echo arena in what promises to be a great fight for both the purists and the casuals.

Both men are reaching the end of there respective careers but we all know that even ageing boxers have one last memorable performance in them. Murray has had 4 world title attempts and despite all 4 ending in losses, he has held his own against the likes of Golovkin, Martinez. Gabriel Rosado has similarly had world title opportunities that have ended in failure but his heart and courage have always been prevalent.

I'm a big fan of Rosado and I like Murray too but this is a fight between two men who love fighting at close quarters and are not afraid to take 3 punches to land one. As a fan of the sport, I can appreciate both the subtle side and the more overt side and this fight has war written all over it. I think Rosado will try to keep his distance in the opening rounds but as the fight goes on, both fighters will abandon any flashy approaches and start trading on the inside. I'd rank Murray as the better boxer but Rosado may have the edge in power. I have Rosado winning this one by split decision but my only concern for him is the scar tissue he has. If Murray can get some of those cuts to open, the fight could be stopped.
