Head-to-head

Liverpool have won the last two league meetings between the sides.
However, Palace have triumphed on their last two league visits to Anfield. The last team to win three in a row there in the Premier League were Chelsea in October 2005.
The most recent of Palace's victories was in November 2015, when they inflicted a first defeat as Liverpool manager on Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool
Liverpool have won five of their last seven league games, drawing the other two, and are looking for a third league victory in a row.
The Reds already have six more points this season than the 60 they amassed in the whole of last season, and are the leading scorers in the Premier League with 69 goals.
Liverpool have lost just once in their last 24 Premier League games at Anfield (W15, D8).
Their five Premier League defeats this season have come against clubs who were in the bottom half of the table going into this weekend.
Manchester United are the only visiting team to keep a clean sheet at Anfield in a Premier League game during Jurgen Klopp's time as Liverpool manager.
Roberto Firmino has scored in his last two Premier League games against Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace
Palace, like Liverpool, have won five of their last seven league games (D1, L1).
Wilfried Zaha has had nine assists from open play in this season's Premier League, second only to Kevin De Bruyne's tally of 10.
Palace have conceded 19 goals from set-pieces in this season's top flight. Only Hull City, with 26, have conceded more.
Former Liverpool player Christian Benteke has scored three goals in his two previous Premier League games at Anfield as an opposition player.
Jason Puncheon has had 38 shots in this season's Premier League without scoring - it's the highest such tally in the top flight.

Lovren defending for both goals was shocking. Trying to win balls he could not make and left sat on his ass as palace broke. This guy is a liability and one of the reasons why we might not get top 4.

Kaiser...dont use them beating arsenal and cfc as an excuse. The defending today was absolute shambolic, how can a sht cross..because it was sht....find its way to benteke through 4 defenders??

Even the 1st goal was so simple, for amateur defending. We score a world class goal and they score 2 sunday league goals....fkn embarrassing!

What about Matip strolling back and not going for the cross and then not going for the corner which went towards him? Lovren missed the ball for the first and Can for the second but at least they tried to go for it.

You'r sick. Don't pretend to be a Liverpool fan. You seem to be excited perhaps after seeing Arsenal steeling a win against City and reaching the cup final final.
