Today was shocking, absolutely shocking; with Utd winning then the team knew nothing less that 3 points would do. Everyone in football knew what Palace would want to do, set pieces and pace on the break....and we concede from a set piece and then a breakaway...EXACTLY what everyone knew Palace would do...that was the shocking part!
You want CL then go and win, the players cannot moan if they dont get it! Ok..thats the bad part.
Now, i said before that we require 3 wins because i personally believe that Utd will not get enough wins to overtake us if we do. We were never going to win every game until the end of the season so it is still 3 wins for me. If we get the wins then we will be on 75 points which means Utd need 12 points from 18 available; and i dont believe they will get 12 points from those games left...its my opinion and i may be wrong, we will see.
Massively disappointing,,BUT.

now that I have calmed down I think we can still do it. i just can't see United winning all those remaining games. i think 3 more wins will do it as well

Watford and Middlesbrough have to be absolute gimmes.
Two absolute rubbish teams, one will already be relegated on the last day of the season and the other one were on their summer holidays about a month ago and lost to a 10 man relegation side yesterday.
Not saying we will beat them but if we can't then we don't deserve top four in my opinion anyway.
Leaves us needing 3-4 points from Southampton and Watford games.

Carroll will be injured.
Good luck against a City side looking to bounce back midweek, I predict zero points.

Palace at home is our bogey game, simple. United's fixtures are too tough to catch us.

What I must say whoever makes 4th spot will be very lucky to do so

Well, with the injuries we've suffered from main players, perhaps it's time Lady Luck got her kit off and gave us all a treat.
We can still do it people.
