Why have you got Xhaka? He is a defensive liability and has been largely responsible for a lot of goals in our recent poor run. Ramsey is not great going forward but does a lot more defensively.

Why did you think City were going to hammer us 4-0?

The best back 7 line up would depend to a degree on our opposition. For some games, Ox would be the best choice at RWB, for others Bellerin would be preferred.

The biggest issue I have is who to partner Xhaka in midfield in the absence of Cazorla. Neither Elneny or Coquelin seem to fit in well with Granit, and Ramsey's current form doesn't merit a place in the starting line up

Midfield needs energy and dynamism so Coq and rambo are perfect. Perhaps I would swap Walcott for welbeck but welbz needs to get on form after his shocking misses nearly cost us yesterday. Gabriel has to start after yesterday, Mustafi is a liability. Xhaka is also a liability. Next season they will fit in better but for now no
