whereas for you Walcott has been there forever and should have done this a while ago.

he did. he just kept getting injured.

He had one good season at around 24 is that right? Was he injured before then because even that's quite late to be getting going considering he had been at Arsenal many seasons before that.

Yeah pretty much. He was played out on the wing and his touch used to let him down he was also far too weak for the prem. He bulked up, Henry and others left and he was given a freer role. He initially blossomed until getting repeatedly injured which curtailed his progress.
Don't get me wrong though even if he was never injured he was never going to be the next Messi (more like the next Vardy or Defoe)

He's had a good season. And one of few players who's done well in big games.
Not sure why Wenger started him. Everyone knows Leicesters tactics is to sit deep then hit teams on the break. Not really a game you'd play Theo in. Giroud would have been more effective. Walcott is useful when teams push up, probably why he's better against the top teams

he hit double figures in goals (plus assists) in the 2 seasons prior to that, which is good for a 21-23 yr old winger. and yeah hes always had annoying niggling injuries.
like I said before, if you can engineer a situation where you can put him through with only one option, he can be deadly. i don't rate him otherwise.
he's essentially a chit Freddie Ljungberg. Times his runs well, good finisher, but none of Freddie's footballing ability.

Sorry all this backs up is the view (which everyone shares btw) that Theo was poor against Leicester. Sanchez was also off form. Is he also out of his depth?

How Walcott has got away with pretending to be a footballer for the past ten years is beyond me. Whenever selected it's just like starting the game with ten men. I have noted of late that his team mates don't even bother passing to him anymore as they know the attack will break down. It didnt take Southgate to realise his non contribution but Wenger has been stubborn for ten years.I would get rid in the summmer for around 12 million but who would buy him !

Yeah a bloke who's scored 19 goals in 35 apps is clearly crap and should be shot in the kneecaps.

The point is, Sanchez has the occasional "off" game, where as Walcott has the occasional "on" game.

Walcott is great when playing against a team which pushes forward and leaves spaces in behind.
He needs to add a different facet to his game so he can contribute when the opposition park the bus
