Antonio Cassano- pogba overated

Suggesting pogbas success is down to his agent. Ballotelli comparison a bit harsh.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.goal.com/en/amp/news/8/main/2017/04/27/34989312/pogba-james-and-balotelli-not-worth-the-money-or-hype-says

"The former Italy international believes the Red Devils, Real Madrid and Nice men have all benefitted from having "incredible opportunities"

Paul Pogba, James Rodriguez and Mario Balotelli all benefit from having “a very good agent", according to Antonio Cassano, who says the three players are overrated.

The Manchester United, Real Madrid and Nice stars are all managed by Mino Raiola.

The high-profile agent has helped all three to reach the very top of the game, with some record-breaking transfers raising the respective profiles of all concerned.

Former Italy international Cassano is, however, not convinced that any of the trio are deserving of the standing they hold in the modern game.

He told Gazzetta dello Sport: “Three overrated players? Pogba, James Rodriguez and Balotelli.

“Is Pogba really worth €120m? Not for me, no. Rodriguez €80m? No. If he’s worth that, how much would [Andres] Iniesta have been worth at his age?

“As for Balotelli, I wish the best for Mario and he’s doing pretty well in France but both he and Pogba have had great fortune in life: they’re managed by a very good agent, Mino Raiola.

Yea... I've enjoyed alot of his games, even when it's understated (like Chelsea)... But his form, compared to that of his Juve years, is certainly gone.

It is too simplistic to just point out the league differences and time on the ball... 90% of our games, the opposition drop deep and don't do much in the way of pressing. He has had time on the ball, but his passing, shooting and decision making have been way off.

It's weird that people suddenly jettison the theory of the first season is sometimes difficult just because he cost a lot

Why would anyone want to take the same side of the debate as opposition fans eapecially when there are far fairer ways to slate your own player than by going in with studs up

Look at who he had in midfiked with him at juve. His form there may be directly influenced by being in a team with one of the best midfielders ever, and one of the very best around. Even Jordan Henderson would look great in a midfield with those two.

Part of the issue is with his price comes big expectations. And that's what fans are disappointed with as he's not living up to them.

No one wants him to fail. There's no conspiracy, some of us just say what we see.

One of Pogbas best games for Juve was away at Bayern last season

Go research who he had in CM with him. You might be surprised.

It's a lazy assumption that other players made him look better

............
And he often outshone both. He was certainly not carried by the others... They were all very, very good. Of course that has an effect, but that's not so much on Pogba... We need another to cm... But when Carrick and Herrera showed form, so did Pogba... That's how a midfield 3 is gonna work.

I'm not saying he was carried by his illustrious team mates, just that anyone on a midfield with pirlo is going to have an easier time of things, such is the mans class.

Pogba is a supporting character not the main man. That is one of the problems as the burden falls on him, when it's not really his forte to set the team rythum.

Robbs problem was he committed to overselling pogba way before we signed him through countless articles. Now he can't/won't back down and say he's not as good as he believed. He's too far down the line.

Robb's smart though. I can't see him making the same mistake again.

Pirlo and Vidal were gone, last season. Pogba was still great and helped win the league with good, but lower level CM partners

The problem with the argument that I supposedly won't back down with my belief in Pogba is that his story hasn't been fully told yet

So why would I after 7 months take back what I said when it's very early days?

Am I supposed to give up on my belief?
