Looks like England have messed this one up. Congrats to India, Dhoni and Raina played very well. However, one or two points on Englands selection....
1) I dislike these 'bits and pieces' players and unless Bopara scores big have to say its a bit of a mistake picking him. Now then,I really do think Pieterson needs to play in these one dayers. Ok, he may be a bit jaded but you HAVE to play your best players.
2) Dernbach needs to play - THE best bowler at the end and one we need to keep in this one day squad.
3) NOT convinced by Kieswetter -gives his wicket away too often. If he plays I'd play him down the order and open with Bell
4) Finally, our one day team is NEARLY right but needs more consistency. And to me its in the Batting we don't show it - Trott has not done the business and personally I'd have (if fit) Morgan every time in place of him. Trott for test matches only I'm afraid!
First loss? I'm not liking the team!

see so much hype on this stokes and taylors.... the actual batsman that deserves the praise is bopara... all your overhyped odi players eg cook bell and trott have failed when it matters... bopara hasnt.... its his 3rd match where he has held the innings, and if you end up winning thanks to bopara

certainly seems like i owe an apology to Bopara.... going to be close...if India win it i think they will be wondering how they conjured defeat from the jaws of victory!!

so crazy..... in this last 3 odis we have seen, all important innings were played by bopara.... I was still hearing people question bopara after his effort..... and also he was scoring pretty fast compared to the likes of bell

I'd argue that Cook and Kieswetter played more important innings in the last two one-dayers. However, you are right about today he played an important knock. Still not sure he will get in when Pietersen and Morgan are back tho!
