Yesterday was frightning to say the least

Think it will take me to the new year to get over that one; very similiar to the Stoke game, not just score wise, but the fact that everything they seemed to hit went in - don't actually remember Jussi having a meaningful save to do all game?

What worryed me the most is that we seemed to be 3 phases behind them throughout the game.

Rio Ferdinand will probably never have an easier game in his career; the amount of times he was able to take the ball and literally just stroll well into our half was astonishing - I wouldn't care but I've never really rated the guy, and if we had put him under any sort of pressure, then who knows, we might have nicked 1 ... or 5 ....

So the outcome of this is: NO PACE UP FRONT! NO PACE ANYWHERE REALLY!

So I think it's time to say BYE BYE SUPER KEVIN DAVIES - You may go down as a legend for BWFC, but your time is up playing at the top level of English football.

For me Coyle has to make changes next week. Not just 1 or 2, but as many as it takes. DROP DAVIES. DROP KLASNIC AND DROP EAGLES FOR STARTERS (who I've come to the conclusion is not a Premiership player, hence why he played for Burnley and still should).

One last point I want to make is about Paul Robinson. Some of the stick he gets on here is un-called for. Yes, you can have your opinion just like me, but who would you play at left back instead of him, who would offer you more?!?

This guy is a true profesional and I actually felt sorry for Robbo yesterday. The amount of times he was marking 2 or 3 world class players- what chance has he got?!? It's easy to slag him off but he never goes missing, and he gives 110% for BWFC week in, week out, unlike others. Yes, he's not the quickest and his technical ability isn't that of Lionel Messi, but he's a warrior and a fighter, and he wears the shirt with pride, and for me, you can't ask for more.

There's no right answer.....everybody has decent points.
Let's say the same line-up plays and wins the Norwich game.....all is forgiven? then we get bounced by Chelsea. We are right back to where we are now IMO.
In the course of the season other teams of our level will pull off upsets or get draws against the big fellas....we seem to be a long way from that at the moment.

Zkat, I'd rather we got the three points against Norwich rather than hope that we get a result at Chelsea.

We can change the team at Chelsea and experiment but we NEED the three points against Norwich.

Get Gardner fit and play him there

No offence, but Gardner's career has been and gone in my view; how long can his legs keep carrying him?

Kevin Davies absolutely should NOT play against Norwich.

Norwich have a very inexperienced defence, I think Davies can exploit that by battling with them.

I'm tired of us thinking one of our strikers needs to 'battle' to win the game. If we play Tuncay or Ngog, we could win by using skill and having our strikers just try to score.

Davies puts pressure on the defence which draws them out of position allowing N'gog/ Tuncay have less pressure on them, makes their job easier.

Its just the tried and tested formula, we need to win against Norwich, we really can't afford to try experimenting in a must win game.

Davies doesn't do that any more. He basically now just runs around, 5 seconds behind play.

I'd rather us play 2 strikers who can beat the opposition through skill and movement. If we need to revert back to type, he can be brought off the bench.

He did it against QPR.

I watched the Norwich - West Brom game today and everytime they were put under pressure, they folded thats what SKD does and did against QPR.

Klasnic wouldn't doe that, N'gog/ Tuncay might be able to do it but I haven't seen enough to prove this.
