In terms of the title race, there is no doubt that on paper it was a better weekend for us than Spurs.
But football ain't won on paper.
Anything can still happen and at this stage of the season, especially when the stakes are so high on each match, making Boro just as much a challenge to us as an away game at Everton.
COYB............No more slip ups.
Fantastic result yesterday for Chelsea

All we need to do is show the same levels of determination and total concentration as we did in the game yesterday and things should work out fine. Forget all about the real Cup Final coming up and focus totally on the 4 consecutive Cup Finals in front of us. Treat ALL the opposition as if they are all as dangerous as a fixture away at Everton is.

Brum, you going to Boro? Do you want to?

Are you really still worried about the run in ? Even the West Brom game does not look as tough anymore.
It's 99.9 % done and the brilliant 13 game win streak was probably the clincher. Have to question though how things would of gone had you been forced to rotate a bit more like we saw with the United game.

We rotated against you at Wembley. It didn't seem to make any difference to the result.

Whilst I agree with what 69er has just said, I also feel justified in what I said in my article the day after our 2-2 draw last season. Spurs are here to stay. My initial reaction to Poch when Southampton hired him was wrong; and I think I said somewhere in the same article I thought Arsenal would drop out of top 4 this season.

No because Spurs wouldn't have accumulated so many points if the big boys were back to their best. If City and Utd were better then Spurs wouldn't have destroyed most of the league so easily. Arsenal always finish above them and Liverpool are a bigger club so Spurs would then be back to 6th. Trust me, when was the last time Utd and City spent a load of money to challenge for the league again? Exactly, and so when they splash the cash in the summer Spurs won't find beating the likes of Watford and Bournemouth so easily

It's your Manager that has completely proven me wrong.
When Southampton sacked Adkins and replaced him with Poch, my reaction was how unfair it was to sack Adkins and "who?"
He's totally blown my judgement away..............
Although (and forgive me for this) i do think he's gonna be a Man Utd Manager some day.
