Pulis vs Conte

To be honest I'm getting a little tired of hearing from the media and most Chelsea fans how much of a genius Conte is. Now OK, we are top of the league and 99% we're gonna win the league, so he's done well cant argue with that.

But to hail him as some kind of magician coach? Not for me !! Please lets not forget, Chelsea is the most expensively assembled squad in English football history. They won the title only TWO years ago in 2015. Conte has merely got them playing to the level they should be, and were only 2 years ago, after Jose lost the dressing room last season. Funny thought it was how the mercenary players mugged off our own fans for a whole season!!

So onto Pulis, what he has done is to take a team that was fighting relegation for most seasons, and turned them into a midtable outfit within a few years with more points than anyone over those couple of seasons so far, with the 16th team on the wage table and a first XI that cost less than Sissoko !!!

Hes turned their shaky defence into a solid one, He's got the team scoring.
He has turned Darren Fletcher into world class player again.
He has made McAuley into a top player
He took Chadli from Spurs and had faith in him, hes now excelling again.
and the list goes on......

So Conte changes formation once in a season, gets hailed a genius even though its the system hes used all his career, Pulis changes formation several times a game!!

Sorry im not buying all the Conte love-ins. Yes he will probably win the title a few points ahead of Pulis, but when you fully analyse their respective achievements - no Conte-st (see what i did there)
